TPA Hosts "TPA International Forum 2016" Discussing Japanese Innovation and Industrial Development for Thailand's Economic Growth

On February 18, 2016, the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA) organized the "TPA International Forum 2016" under the theme "Industrial Development through Japanese Innovation to Drive Thailand's Economy."

The forum featured distinguished speakers who shared insights on industrial cooperation and innovation policies between Thailand and Japan.

Key presentations included:

• "Special Economic Zone Development through Industrial Promotion Measures and Thailand–Japan Cooperation" by Mr. Winijchai Jamchaeng, Assistant Minister of Commerce.
• "Japan's Innovation Strategy and Innovation Practices of Japanese Companies in Thailand" by Dr. Masayuki Kondo, Professor at Yokohama National University.
• "Japan's Cooperation for Sustainable Industrial Development and Investment in Thailand" by Mr. Masayasu Hosumi, President of JETRO Bangkok and Chief Representative for ASEAN.

The forum served as an important platform for exchanging ideas on industrial development, innovation, and future Thailand–Japan economic cooperation. TPA remains committed to supporting the economic development of both countries.
