On February 23, 2016, the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA), through the Thailand–Japan Industrial Linkage and Development Project, collaborated with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM) to implement the New Entrepreneurs Creation (NEC) Program.
Applicants underwent interviews and a selection process before participating in the training program.
The program was designed to develop aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners seeking to expand existing enterprises. Participants gained practical knowledge and management skills in business planning, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
The training also introduced modern business tools such as the Business Model Canvas and Online Business strategies, encouraging participants to leverage information technology to improve efficiency and create sustainable business growth.
Through this initiative, TPA continues to support entrepreneurship development, business creation, and the competitiveness of Thailand's SME sector.
