Thailand-Japan Business Matching Event in Bangkok Connecting Kanagawa-Based Japanese Companies with Thai Businesses

On September 1, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Thailand-Japan Business Matching Event in Bangkok was held at the Sasa Patasala Building, Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University. The event was jointly organized by Kanagawa Prefecture, Bank of Yokohama, Kanagawa Institute of Industrial Development (KIP), Sasin Center for Entrepreneurship of Chulalongkorn University, and the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA).

The event provided a platform for Thai and Japanese companies to explore new business opportunities, expand investment prospects, and strengthen bilateral business partnerships. Participants exchanged views on Japanese technologies, innovation strategies, and potential areas for future collaboration.

A total of 32 representatives from Thai companies participated in the event, demonstrating strong interest in establishing partnerships with Japanese businesses and exploring opportunities for technology transfer, business collaboration, and market expansion.

The event contributed to strengthening economic ties between Thailand and Japan and promoting cross-border business cooperation between companies from Kanagawa Prefecture and Thailand.
