Management of the JCC Industry-Academia Collaboration Project

TPA operates an annual industry-academia collaboration project commissioned by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok. The project is conducted at three leading universities in Thailand: Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.

In this project, students develop business innovation ideas and solutions to real-world challenges based on themes provided by participating companies. Through lectures, workshops, and group discussions, students refine their proposals and ultimately deliver presentations to company representatives. This year, the project focused on innovation ideas for people with disabilities. Students proposed a variety of solutions addressing challenges faced by individuals with Parkinson's disease, hearing impairments, autism spectrum disorders, and other disabilities.

The project provides students with valuable opportunities to engage with practical business challenges while offering companies fresh perspectives and innovative ideas from the younger generation. Through industry-academia collaboration, TPA remains committed to nurturing the next generation of talent that will contribute to the industrial development of both Japan and Thailand.
