[Culture through the Business manner] Workshop at TNI

On July 15th, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Networks interns organized an intercultural understanding workshop on Japanese business manners at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI).

The workshop was designed for TNI students majoring in Japanese language studies. It introduced key aspects of Japanese business etiquette while explaining the underlying values of Japanese society, such as respect, responsibility, and harmony. Participants also explored cultural differences and similarities between Japan and Thailand, fostering a deeper understanding of both cultures. In addition, students took part in a practical business card exchange activity, allowing them to experience Japanese business customs firsthand.

Through the workshop, participants gained not only knowledge of Japanese business etiquette as a set of practices, but also a deeper appreciation of the cultural values and ways of thinking behind them. The event served as an opportunity to promote mutual understanding between Japan and Thailand and contributed to the development of future talents who can help strengthen connections between the two countries.
